I’m Ali Heikal and this is my creative space where I get to share my experiences and thoughts through blog posts to help you in life generally, or to develop awesome solutions using hot tech specifically.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and Information Systems from the British University in Egypt (BUE) with graduation project distinction in 2019. I was fortunate enough to be a Microsoft Student Partner throughout my whole duration as a bachelor student (2015–2019), the Microsoft Student Partner program recognizes top young minds from around the world who are passionate about technology, it allowed me to be mentored and taught by Microsoft employees from Egypt and all over the world, gaining experience and knowledge dealing with real projects covering essential technical and non-technical aspects, and sharing my experience and knowledge through online and offline engagement in multiple universities, training centers, and Microsoft premises.
I had the honor and privilege of training and interning at top reputable companies including an internship at Microsoft in 2017 under the supervision of the Developer Experience and Evangelism (DX) division where I worked on building several projects that use different technologies and delivered presentations while being taught and mentored by Microsoft employees, and an internship at ITWORX in 2018 under the supervision of the User Experience & Mobility Department where I worked on large-scale projects and dealt with most of the software development life cycle (SDLC) phases, using the best practices to solve problems in the process of designing an application or system all the way to delivery.
I believe in the quote that says “If you want something you’ve never had before, you gotta be willing to do something you’ve never done before.” and just like Tony Stark said in the opening sequence of Iron Man 3 “Who said that? What does that even mean? Doesn’t matter. I said it ’cause he said it. So now, he was famous and that basically getting said by two well-known guys.” but with all seriousness, I truly believe in that quote!
I love empowering others, which is why you might find me answering your questions somewhere like Stack Overflow
